The National Guard and Reserve honored Entereza's joint venture company, Joint Technical Services, with a Patriotic Employer award. This award is given to employers who continually recognize and support our country's service members and their families in peace, in crisis, and in war. To be nominated for the Patriot Award, National Guard and Reserve members must nominate the company. Entereza has pledged to honor and enforce the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act and diligently works towards supporting its National Guard and Reserve employees.

Entereza placed tenth in the small business category for New Mexico Business Weekly's Best Places to Work competition. The award honors New Mexico companies for their cultivation of happy, healthy, and professionally satisfied work forces. Companies were judged on their team effectiveness, retention risk, alignment with goals, trust with co-workers, individual contribution, manager effectiveness, trust in senior leaders, feeling valued, work engagement and people practices. The president of Entereza, Virginia Buckmelter, became President for PACA (Professional Aerospace Contractors Association). She holds the distinction of serving as the first woman president of the association. PACA has become widely used by all government agencies in the Albuquerque area as a forum for interaction with industry. This certification means that Entereza has implemented a quality management system with an established framework that is used across all departments to improve the quality of our services and ensure increased customer satisfaction. This certification is applicable to all of Entereza’s core business areas.

Entereza, Inc. together with Westech International, Inc. have formed a joint venture, Joint Technical Services (JTS). JTS is an 8(a) security, facilities support company. The company is focused on providing technical and administrative support expertise for implementation of the DOE Personnel Security Program, to include clearance and special access processing, adjudication of investigative reports or other security-related information, Human Reliability Programs (HRPs), the Administrative Review process, and other personnel security related programs. JTS was formed by Ginny Buckmelter, President of Entereza, and Dr. Betty Chao, President of Westech International, Inc. (www.westech-intl.com).

Entereza received the Pinon award in recognition of our commitment to quality and performance excellence in 2007. The award is presented by Quality New Mexico, which is patterned after the national Malcolm Baldridge quality program. Entereza president, Virginia Buckmelter, accepted the award at the annual New Mexico Quality Awards banquet.

The Small Business Administration announced that Entereza has was nominated by the Air Force Operational Test and Evaluation Center for the 2007 Small Business Prime Contractor of the Year Award. The winner will be announced in March 2008.

Entereza submitted the application for the 2007 Quality New Mexico Pinon Recognition (commitment to Performance Excellence). The New Mexico Quality Awards, modeled after the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award, recognizes businesses and other organizations that are in various stages of their "Performance Excellence Journey." Announcements will be made in March 2008.

The Department of Homeland Security Transportation Security Administration's (TSA) awarded Entereza the 2-year Hazmat Security Training Program contract. The project includes the development of web-based training, instructor-led training, train-the-trainer, a scenario-based DVD, and advertisement materials. By project end, approximately 1,000 transportation industry personnel will be trained in 10 key cities throughout the country. The training will then become available to tens of thousands of commercial transportation companies, both large and small, for their internal use.

Entereza supports the Joint Biological Point Detection System (JBPDS) Project at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. Entereza provided support for test conducted during the spring of 2007 and will support the JBPDS with data collection, data entry, test instrumentation, and contingency personnel during MOT&E field tests in September through December 2007.

The Space Development Test Wing at Kirtland AFB, NM awarded Entereza a contract for help desk support for the Defense Travel System (DTA) support and Comprehensive Cost and Requirements System (CCaRs) support. The contract covers the period from April 2007 through April 2012.

Entereza is pleased to announce our certification as a Women's Business Enterprise and a member of the Women's Business Council Southwest (WBCS). The Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) is dedicated to advancing the success of certified women's business enterprises, government agencies and corporate members in partnership with its affiliated women's business organizations.
The WBENC, founded in 1997, is the nation's leading advocate of women-owned businesses as suppliers to America's corporations. It also is the largest third-party certifier of businesses owned and operated by women in the United States. WBENC works to foster diversity in the world of commerce with programs and policies designed to expand opportunities and eliminate barriers in the marketplace for women business owners. WBENC works with representatives of corporations to encourage the utilization and expansion of supplier/vendor diversity programs.
The WBENC certification for women-owned businesses is one of the most widely recognized and respected certifications in the nation. WBENC certification is accepted by over 700 major corporations across the country and a number of federal and government agencies. Entereza is pleased to join the ranks of this great organization.

Entereza is pleased to announce their recent purchase of Continuous Solutions, Inc., which has a focus in business continuity and disaster recovery. This acquisition included a purchasing agreement (#35-000-00-00089) with the State of New Mexico.

The contract is a $4.5M three year award. Entereza will revamp current courses and develop new courses to address the needs of the AFOTEC's test directors and analysts. Entereza is supporting the contract through instructor-led courses, as well as web-based and computer-based training.

InfraGard will be hosting several events this year including a wireless security training course, penetration training mini-courses, and a national conference to be held in February in Taos. Attendees at the national conference will include local FBI and InfraGard Board members as well as Governor Richardson (requested) and national FBI and InfraGard Board members. Topics for the national event will focus around Intellectual Property Education and Awareness.

SAIC Group SVP Chuck Zang announced that SAIC will be awarding its "Sub-Contractor of the Year" award to Entereza Network Solutions at SAIC's Small Business Award Banquet on January 15, 2004, at the Sheraton Old Town. Entereza provided support activities for two of SAIC's largest test and evaluation programs at AFOTEC. They managed the relationship with Lockheed Martin to procure the Chemical Biological Aerosal Warning System (CBAWS) for testing purposes by AFOTEC. The company provided test personnel to support the Joint Program Office's Joint Biological Point Detection System two month test effort at Eglin AFB. Both projects involved chemical biological advance warning system testing prior to fielding to protect US military personnel. Company principals, both native New Mexicans, are Virginia Buckmelter, CEO, and Randy Krall, CTO.
