Training Services
Entereza has a strong commitment to, and experience in, workforce development. Entereza's use of the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) aids customers in analyzing their training needs as well as optimizing resources. Designed training services can be instructor led classroom and on-the-job training (OJT), computer-based or web-based training, or blended learning solutions combining both approaches.
Entereza personnel have developed prize winning CBT and can provide CBT/ WBT to meet workplace needs. We also have the ability to develop custom software tools to meet project needs. Our instructors are experienced and professionally certified. Additional points in our training philosophy are listed below.
- Utilize a consistent, repeatable approach to developing web and other electronic learning.
- Develop computer-based tools to support learning. For example, the acceptable placement of objects in relation to other objects where critical relationships exist between the objects concerned.
- Apply Shareable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM) where applicable or required. (This is an industry standard for developing content efficiently.)
- Have specific experience-based ideas to comply with Section 508 (Rehabilitation Act of 1998) with a reasonable approach to accommodating sensory, motor, and neurologically impaired individuals.
- Instructors are highly rated by students and customer. Created custom Guided Discussion Facilitator Tools to support instructor-led PowerPoint sessions.
We believe that consistent use of SAT develops the learner's expertise as well as a streamlined training product.
- Adequate identification of cognitive and task requirements and the recognition of different learning styles of students must be addressed in classroom, OJT, or on-line learning.
- Learning retention techniques must be imbedded in the development and delivery of training. We believe that sustaining the learning and learning transfer using recognized working and long term memory strategies are essential for training transfer to the job.
- Evaluation of the timeliness, usefulness, and retention of instruction by building Kirkpatrick Level 1, 2, 3 evaluation components into all courses.
We develop periodic and on-demand, LAN-based training to meet customer qualification and continuing training requirements.
- Training is generated from needs/job/task/ document analysis, executive management, and/or mandates.
- Delivery methods include classroom, OJT, video, and other content depending on analyzed requirements.
- Past experience with the military and government agencies' training and qualification programs.
- Continuing training may include lessons learned, procedural or equipment changes, or new mandates, and may be delivered through presentations, OJT, on-line tools, and reference-based instruction.
It is far more efficient to create various products to assist workers to perform flawlessly than to train them to perform flawlessly.
- Job aids and performance support systems are very effective assistance with some types of tasks.
- Training retention support can be course desktop reference cards, or other reach back on-line systems.
