Operational Testing Services
Today's high-tech systems are setting new standards for testing. Disparate technologies now being combined for Homeland Security applications, for example, pose new challenges for evaluating system capabilities to include effectiveness and suitability.
As a result, the work of evaluating innovative technologies across disciplines has become a specialty in itself, requiring skill, imagination, and rigorous scientific testing.
Other areas critical to test and evaluation are training and supporting documentation. It is imperative that individuals are provided the tools they will need to successfully plan, execute and report a test that will meet the needs of program managers, test analysts, test directors, test team members, and various other support personnel.
Key areas of training support include preparing test members to:
- Understand, plan for, facilitate, participate in or otherwise support the discovery and scope/cost processes of operational test and evaluation (OT&E).
- Plan, budget, execute, and report OT&E as prescribed in DoD and AF directives, focusing on proven test processes, with an emphasis on the role of test and evaluation in the acquisition process.
- Conduct technical reviews, develop test construct, initial test design, operational measures, test methodologies, risk assessment, test concept, test team formation, the joint reliability maintainability evaluation team and test data scoring board process, test support agreements, environmental safety and health, data management and analysis plan, questionnaires, data collection & processing, data analysis, detailed test procedures, watch item tracking and deficiency reports, test plan development and certification for operational test.
- Conduct test execution activities, final report and briefing deliverables, and program closeout procedures, including hands-on exercises and laboratory environment activities to replicate test execution, data analysis, data evaluation, final report, and final report briefing processes.
Entereza's Test, Evaluation and Training services provide these skills to provide key acquisition decision makers the necessary information they need to make the right acquisition and fielding decisions.
Our experienced, multi-disciplinary teams work closely with clients to learn their needs, their Concept of Operations, the range of their operations, and the risks involved. We manage the testing process to ensure thorough, consistent, exhaustive results. Our final reports explain which criteria were used, why they were used, and how they were tested, in addition to an objective, detailed evaluation of the systems performance. Our reports are accurate, balanced and complete describing the combat capabilities of systems and platforms-both the strengths and weaknesses- in clear operational terms. The final step in the process is the transfer of knowledge that is necessary in obtaining repeatable implementations.
Entereza has been involved in the full-spectrum testing of Department of Defense systems, from mainframe database vulnerability to integration with chemical and biological-threat sensors to ensure warfighter security. In addition, we have supported, through program management and temporary staffing, resources for capture, collection and data entry for test and evaluation at Eglin AFB, Florida. We currently support the test and evaluation of warfighter protection gear for two additional projects. We also develop web-based training (WBT) and converting existing computer based training (CBT) for AFOTEC OT&E.
